so today i had the worst of days before (and during) getting my braces off finally

the opening night of twilight was quite fabulous, split_psychosis and i bought our tickets in advance (much to the displeasure of our friends who bought them to see it yesterday) but oh well

it's kind of our ritual to go there together and ruin it with our witty one-liners and loud nasally fangirl screams when the entire room was silent, it's a bro thing

6) walking to school yesterday was fun, the weather was nice
7) read the v for vendetta comic, very awesome, despite not getting most of it because i'm el dumb
8) finished reading milkweed, i need more holocaust books, they always have the best stories
9) David actually practiced and played for his playing test, and got a 12/15, i was so proud of him
10) this is more of a sad note, but i saw an old friend i don't speak with anymore in the halls and it made me realize i had such a good thing going between us, and ruined it by antisocial, i wont let that happen again

as my twitter knows i got a violin from my dads friend today
she's not completely mine, but we're never going to mention it in the hopes my dads friends sister never wants it back

so yesterday i went to cirque de solei with my mom, cousin, and my aunt
it was amazing, nothing i've ever seen can compare to it

i've only ever been to the shrine circus which has been in our city
so i'm so glad i got the chance to see this

the show playing was OVO ("egg" in portuguese") and it was just amazing
there story basically is a foreign bug comes with a giant egg (the "ovo") and gets involved with a bunch of other insects, and falls in love with a fat lady bug, though wiki tells me;

"The show looks at the world of insects and its biodiversity where they go about their daily lives until a mysterious egg appears in their midst, as the insects become awestruck about this iconic object that represents the enigma and cycles of their lives."

which is true as well, most of the acrobatics are just the bugs going on with their daily life so to speak, it was great to see

some shining moments of the night were

→bug catchers walking around the crowd with butterflies on little wires so they looked like they were flying + men dressed as grasshoppers hopping around on-stage before the show
→the foreign bug getting kicked in the balls and saying "my ovo's ;A;"
→the leader bug making random women in the audience catcall to the foreign bug
→the leader bug asking an old dude for his number
→me shipping the red spider with a grasshopper
→these beautiful gigantic flowers over the stage that would blossom at certain parts of the act
